Chisinau, 3 April /MOLDPRES/- The 5+2 negotiation format may not be the best, but it provides a balance in the negotiations between Chisinau and Tiraspol. Prime Minister Pavel Filip made the statement in an interview for a daily newspaper in Romania.
According to Filip, the format 5+2 may not be the best, but something better was not invented.
“For us, the most important thing is to provide necessary comfort for people living in this region. We are talking about the access of farmers to the agricultural land that was fenced, we talk about the operation of schools with teaching in Romanian, the apostille of the diplomas of those who are studying in Tiraspol,” he said.
He added that there are currently high-level issues related to the access of citizens living in the Transnistrian area with their cars and registration numbers to the international circuit.
“I think in a few weeks we will try to solve this problem, even if I am aware that we will be criticized for giving in. It is about plates with neutral registration numbers. Yet, on the other hand, it is success we record. For the first time since the outbreak of the conflict, the Chisinau officials responsible for transport registration will be in the Transnistrian area and will conduct registration,” Filip said.
