Chisinau, 3 April /MOLDPRES/ - The National Food Safety Agency (ANSA) has monitored more economic agents before the Easter holidays, for the supply of products complying with the standards in the commercial network.
Among the enterprises monitored, there is also the poultry enterprise, Pasarea Argintie (Silver Bird), from the Ciorescu settlement, Chisinau municipality. The enterprise has 65,000 laying hens and daily supplies about 50,000 eggs to Moldovan trade networks. Following verification, decision-makers found out that all parameters of producing and preserving eggs were observed, this being the guarantee that only quality products will reach consumers’ tables.
At the same time, the ANSA recommended that consumers be attentive when buying these goods. “Consumers should pay attention to conditions of preservation. Eggs must be clean, without cracks, shells should be dull. The white and yolk must be clear, should have a proper content, must have no strange smells,” the ANSA deputy director, Ion Toma, has said.
In the context, ANSA warned residents about the fact that food products must be purchased only in specialized shops, specially arranged places, should be authorized and their sanitary and veterinary acts must be all right.
