Moldovan energy regulator sets higher ceiling prices for petrol, diesel for next two weeks

Chisinau, 3 April /MOLDPRES/ - The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) today set a ceiling price for the most demanded Premium-95 petrol at 18.48 lei for one litre and for diesel – at 16.25 lei per one litre for 4-17 April.
The reference price for petrol is by 0.61 lei for one litre higher than the earlier one and the diesel price increased by 0.52 lei for the next two weeks. The new prices for petrol and diesel will enter into force at midnight and will be in force beginning with 4 April till 17 April. Operators will no longer have right to sell fuels by retail at higher prices than the ones established by ANRE.
The quotation of the Brent oil barrel today at noon grew to 67.89 dollars for one barrel, up by 0.39 per cent against the prices at the opening of the transactions. The oil price sharply dropped, after getting closer to 70 dollars per one barrel on 2 April. Two weeks ago, the price was of 67.14 dollars for one barrel.
