The Moldovan parliament hosts the sixth meeting of the EU – Moldova Parliamentary Association Committee. The co-chairpersons of the Committee, Eugen Carpov and Andi Cristea, hold a news briefing, at 9:00.

The parliament holds a plenary meeting at 14:00.

The national commission for collective consultations and negotiations convenes at a meeting at the government at 15:00.

The Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry, International Labour Organization and National Agency for Labour Force Employment organize a news conference to present the results of piloting a programme on professional training jobless people at the working place, according to the labour market’s needs, at the Health Ministry at 9:00.

An event carried out by the My Park project, aimed at renovating and modernizing more zones in the Valea Trandafirilor (Roses Valley) park from Chisinau, is held in the concerned park at 15:00.   

2. Guests and delegations in Moldova

Co-rapporteurs of the Monitoring Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Egidijus Vareikis and Maryvonne Blondin pay a visit to Moldova on 2-5 April.

MPs of European Parliament’s Committee on Foreign Affairs and Committee on Budgets visit Moldova on 3-6 April, to assess the level of implementation of the Association Agreement with EU and monitor the efficiency of the use of the European Union’s financial support.
