Access of private transport to cemeteries to be restricted in Moldova

Chisinau, 10 April /MOLDPRES/ - The access of private transport to cemeteries from Chisinau will be restricted before the holidays of Easter of the Departed.

According to the Chisinau city hall, the restriction is imposed given the carrying out of sanitation and arrangement works by competent services.

Thus, starting from 11 April, vehicles’ access will be limited to the territory of the Sf. Lazar Cemetery on the Doina Street, and beginning with 13 April – to the other cemeteries of Chisinau: Central Cemetery from the A. Mateevici Street; Catholic Cemetery from Trandafirilor 11 Street; Sf. Treime (Holy Trinity) Cemetery on the Muncesti highway; Sculeni Cemetery from Calarasi Street and Cemetery St. Ciobanu from Decembristilor 39 Street.

In 2018, Easter of the Departed is marked in Moldova on 15 and 16 April.
