Prestigious publication confirm Moldova-Agroindbank's status as the best bank of Moldova

Chisinau, 11 April /MOLDPRES/ - The commercial bank Moldova-Agroindbank stock company (MAIB) has been repeatedly nominated as “The Best Bank of Moldova,” with the title awarded by the international magazine Global Finance. The prize is meant to confirm MAIB’s status of incontestable leader of the Moldovan banking sector and the high quality of services and products provided by the bank, reads a press release by the financial institution.   

MAIB is among “the world leaders which can answer with ability the continuously changing new technologies and market conditions,” the editorial director of Global Finance magazine, Joseph D. Giarraputo, has said.    

“The winners of the prizes this year are banks which paid special attention to clients’ needs in difficult market conditions and got better results, consolidating, at the same time, the foundations of the future success.”  

“For MAIB, this prize is a confirmation of the status of leader of Moldova’s banking sector, recognition of the joint efforts of the entire management team to ensure the bank’s compliance with the highest professional standards and to implement the most rigorous principles of corporate governance. And the fact that Moldova Agroindbank has been getting this title for more years in a row is a proof of the bank’s sustainable development and proves that it fully deserves the status of systemic bank, of locomotive of the banking system,” Chairman of the MAIB Management Board Serghei Cebotari said.      

Financing and banking institutions from about 150 countries participated in the contest. The assessment of candidates was carried out by the magazine’s editors, financial analysts, bank directors and consultants of world statute, based on a thorough analysis of the results for the 2017 year, including the increase in assets, profitability, strategic relations, geographical coverage, innovational products.     

Global Finance is an international magazine which annually nominates the best financial institutions from all over the world. The awarding of prizes by Global Finance has become a sign of confirmation of the higher standards promoted by the aforementioned institutions and is an important source of information on the developments of the financial and banking institutions from about 200 countries of the world.
