Citizens from over 30 countries to be able to travel to Moldova without visas

Chisinau, 12 April /MOLDPRES/- The promulgation decree and the law amending and supplementing the legislation on third-country nationals who have visa obligation, and third-country nationals who are exempt from the visa requirement when crossing the state border of Moldova will be published in the Official Journal of Moldova on 13 April.
Among the states whose citizens will be able to travel to Moldova without visas are – Brazil, the Republic of Colombia, the United Mexican States, the Republic of Guatemala, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, the Republic of Panama, the Republic of Paraguay, the Republic of Mauritius. At the same time, seven of the 33 states have unilaterally lifted the obligation to hold an entry visa for Moldovan citizens.
According to authorities, excluding visas for several countries will facilitate economic cooperation, investment attraction, tourism development and other priority sectors for our country, as well as possible travel facilities for Moldovan citizens in the future.
