Moldovan Customs Service employees to work in enhanced regime before Memorial Easter

Chisinau, 13 April /MOLDPRES/ – The employees of Customs Service will work in enhance regime before the Memorial Easter in order to speed up cross – border traffic.

Is expected an increase in traffic flow ​​today, especially entering Moldova.

However, as to reduce waiting time, number of employees and verification equipment, it will be provided use of all control arteries irrespective of crossing direction, as well as involvement of heads of customs posts and their vices in customs clearance.

Interviewed by agency, spokeswoman of Customs Service, Cristina Rau, specified that at each crossing point, number of employees will be supplemented by 3 – 4 employees, as required. "A multi – employee intervention group has been set up, which will intervene, in case of increase in flow of persons. At the same time, there will activate non – stop the anti – fraud officers on customs posts," said Cristina Rau.

Similarly, Customs Service set Total Call Centre (+373 22 574 111), where persons can find info on border crossings with various goods or complain about possible abuses admitted by employees of institution.  

Also, on Customs Service's website, drivers can see real – time traffic from most transited stations in order to plan their optimal route.

The Memorial Easter is celebrated on 15 – 16 Aprilie in 2018.
