Road markings to be applied on several streets in capital

Chisinau, 17 April /MOLDPRES/- Employees of the Exdrupo enterprise will apply road markings on several streets in the Botanica district. Company head Adrian Boldurescu made the statement today at a weekly meeting of Chisinau city hall.

According to the company management, the works will begin on Dacia Boulevard, where a mark of 700 square meters will be applied.

“The road marking has not been applied so far, for the reason that it is necessary the air temperature to be at least 10 degrees on the surface of the asphalt. There will be 3-4 teams attending the works,” Boldurescu said.

Boldurescu said that on some streets, two-component road marking will be applied this year. “By late June markings will be applied on all streets in Chisinau,” he said.

Acting mayor of Chisinau Silvia Radu said that during the works, streamlining traffic will be ensured by Patrol Inspectors.

The total cost of the works will be up to 6 million lei.
