Moldovan foreign ministry state secretary, European Commission official discuss implementation of Association Agreement, cooperation within Eastern Partnership

Chisinau, 18 April /MOLDPRES/ - State Secretary at the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry (MAEIE) Daniela Morari and Director for Eastern Neighbourhood of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations Lawrence Meredith today discussed developments in the process of implementing the Association Agreement and cooperation within the new multilateral architecture of the Eastern Partnership.

According to the MAEIE public diplomacy, strategic communication and media interaction service, the officials tackled priorities of the financial and technical assistance provided to Moldova by the European Union.

The European Commission’s representative also participated in a working meeting with officials in charge of the implementation of the provisions of the Moldova – European Union Association Agreement. The sides exchanged opinions on priorities of the work of the national institutions within the platforms of the Eastern Partnership.
