Moldovan ministers, institutions' heads to meet citizens on every third Friday of each month

Chisinau, 18 April /MOLDPRES/ - The government has changed the mechanism of carrying out the hearing of citizens in the territory and the latter’s meetings with cabinet members and civil servants from ministries. The amendments are meant to strengthen the relations between the central public administration authorities and citizens, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
According to the new provisions, every third Friday of each month is the day of hearing and meetings in the territory. The schedule of the meetings will be monthly approved by the prime minister, based on proposals by cabinet members. At the same time, the results of all hearings and meetings held will be unveiled.
The government’s representatives in the territory will be able to participate in the organization and carrying out the hearing and meetings with citizens; so far, exclusively the local public authorities have been in charge of this.
The new mechanism of organization and holding hearings and meetings in the territory of cabinet members was worked out in the context of the change of the normative framework regarding the exclusion of the office of deputy prime minister and setting the positions of general state secretary and state secretary.
