Moldova, Belarus sign eight cooperation agreements within basic fields

Chisinau, 19 April /MOLDPRES/ – Moldova and Belarus have signed today eight bilateral collaboration agreements in field, like: justice, healthcare, education and energy efficiency, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
A document on cooperation on judicial expertise was signed within justice sector, providing a series of measures aimed at strengthening professional capacities of domain employees in Moldova and Belarus throughout experience exchanges and practical training.
The training and professional development actions will also be carried out for medical staff in Moldova by signing of a document on bilateral healthcare cooperation. It also provides provision of medical assistance to Moldovan and Belarusian citizens on territory of one of two states, circulation of medicines and medical devices, promotion of investment projects within healthcare protection and exchange of info in combating epidemics.
Similarly, following the memorandum signed today, Moldova and Belarus will work together on energy efficiency segment as to increase use of renewable energy and alternative fuels sources. Also, there will be undertaken joint acts to stimulate innovation and research, there will be implemented technical – scientific projects, and researchers from Moldova and Belarus will be encouraged to participate in events.
The framework for cooperation on economic development of Moldova and Belarus will be strengthened by signing acts within prosecution and interethnic relations. Referred to regional interaction, there were signed three agreements on commercial, economic and cultural cooperation between Gomel city and Gagauzia, districts Kobrinsky – Cahul and Hantsavichy – Leova.
At present, relations of Moldova and Belarus have developed upon 93 mutual documents.
