Moldovan government settled for 20 years problem on Transnistria land

Chisinau, 23 April /MOLDPRES/- As a result of the efforts of the Moldovan government in negotiations between Chisinau and Tiraspol, the access to the land plots belonging to owners of Dubasari district has been restored, the Bureau for Reintegration has reported.
Thus, the unconditional access of landowners for a period of 20 years has been got for the first time, starting from 1 August 2018 and the issue of certificates in the near future.
The results of the government’s actions were communicated on 23 April 2018 at a meeting between representatives of the Bureau for Reintegration and the local public administrations in Cocieri, Coșnița, Doroțcaia, Molovata Nouă, Pârâta, as well as economic agents from Dubasari district.
Owners had no access to the land since 2014, and until then the right of use was determined annually.
The Moldovan government remains committed to efforts leading to concrete results for Moldovan citizens from both banks of the Dniestre river.
