Chisinau, Tiraspol reach consensus on mechanism of admission of vehicles from Transnistrian region to international traffic

Chisinau, 24 April /MOLDPRES/- A new meeting of working groups for the development of road transport and infrastructure was held at the OSCE Mission to Moldova on 23 April, with the participation of political representatives in negotiations on the Transnistrian settlement from Chisinau and Tiraspol, Cristina Lesnic and Vitalii Ignatiev, and international partners in the 5+2 format, the Bureau for Reintegration has reported.

Following discussions, the sides have reached a consensus on the mechanism of admission of vehicles from the Transnistrian region to international traffic. The mechanism does not regulate the activity of transport units carrying out business.

Yesterday’s meeting was the 20th of this year in the working group for car transport and road infrastructure.
