Moldovan authorities to ensure observance of foreign citizens' rights in employment

Chisinau, 24 April /MOLDPRES/ - The authorities will ensure the observance of the rights of foreign citizens in employment, under an agreement signed by the director of the Interior Ministry’s Migration and Asylum Bureau, Olga Poalelungi and a representative of the State Labour Inspectorate, Dumitru Stavila.

The agreement provides for cooperation between representatives of the labour, labour security and health sector and is aimed at fighting infringements in the rules of employment of foreign citizens or stateless persons.

The document sees actions of legalizing the labour relations. In this respect, decision-makers will join efforts and actions of regulation, supervision, research, training, raising awareness, etc.

The cooperation will be based on strengthening the professional capacities, on carrying out joint actions of raising the awareness of the wide public about the consequences of the non-observance of the legislation, and the main goal is to observe the interests of the foreign citizens and stateless persons.
