Meeting of working group on combating crime and emergencies held in Tiraspol

Chisinau, 26 April /MOLDPRES/- Tiraspol office of the OSCE Mission to Moldova hosted a meeting of the working group on combating crime and emergencies on 25 April, with the participation of the representative of the Bureau for Reintegration, co-chairman of the Joint Control Commission (JCC) of the Moldovan delegation, as well as representatives of the 5+2 format, the Bureau for Reintegration has reported.
The sides welcomed the resumption of the activity of the working group after a break of more than a year, and expressed willingness to consider and identify solutions to existing problems.
In particular, they approached basic issues of interaction in preventing and combating the consequences of emergency situations on the two banks of the Dniestre river.
In the same context, Chisinau and Tiraspol were committed to review the previously launched proposals in crime prevention to identify a common agreement in line with the legal provisions.
The next meeting of the working group on combating crime and emergencies will be held in Chisinau.
