Moldova's delegation to Joint Control Commission has new expert

Chisinau, 4 May /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova’s delegation on 3 May chaired an ordinary meeting of the Joint Control Commission (JCC), traditionally held in the Bender city on Thursdays, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.
The head of Moldova’s delegation, Ion Solonenco, introduced a chief consultant at the Reintegration Policies Bureau, Angela Lupan, recently appointed as expert with permanent status under cabinet decision.
Another subject on the agenda was the approval of a weekly report on the situation in the Security Zone, unveiled by the Joint Military Command.
After a break, the head of Russia’s delegation, Ilya Uvarov, opened an unordinary meeting of the Joint Control Commission to consider the issue of ensuring security nearby the bridge across the Dniester river between the Gura Bacului and Bacioc settlements.
Therefore, the sides exchanged opinions and took a decision on the need of additional consultations on this subject, based on previous proposals by the delegations in the process of dialogue.
The next meeting of the Commission will be held on 10 May 2018.
