Over 150 commercial booths evacuated from Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 07 May /MOLDPRES/ – Over 150 commercial booths were evacuated from Chisinau markets within recent three months of 2018. The announcement was made today by the sector ministers, during the operative session of the City Hall of Chisinau municipality.

There were spent about MDL 215 thousand from municipal budget for eviction of commercial units.

According to sector Praetor's offices, 41 booths and 11 mobile points were dismantled in Buiucani sector, with MDL 32,000 spent. In Ciocana sector, 24 commercial points were disposed and MDL 85,000 were allocated for this purpose. There were discharged 16 booths and 21 towers in Rascani sector. Similarly, 21 booths were evacuated in Botanica sector, and in Centre sector – 23.

Some booths were evicted by economic agents, others forced by municipal services.

Also, by the end of 2018, there will be evacuated nearly 200 booths, and economic agents who will not comply will be sued.

According to the Chisinau City Hall's press service, in early 2018, there were over 3,000 booths in Chisinau, including the ones in markets.
