Moldovan speaker of parliament says, Number one priority: education, human capital

Chisinau, 07 May /MOLDPRES/ – The number one priority in development strategy of Moldova for upcoming period is education and human capital. We will not be able to make progress if we do not concentrate resources upon this segment, said Speaker of Parliament, Andrian Candu, at meeting with students at State University Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu (USBPH) in Cahul, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.
The young people in Cahul were interested in opportunities for business launch and development. The SP spoke about 21 business support programmes, as well as reforms related to simplifying business registration procedures, reporting, etc. At the same time, Andrian Candu specified that "no government will succeed without support of people and youth".
Also, young people were interested in projects related to renewable energy, as well as social projects such as Prima Casa (First Home), meal vouchers or Arena Chisinau. All these governance initiatives are part of a strategy for young people to work at home and benefit from good quality of life.
There is to remind that Andrian Candu initiated a series of public lectures on economy, democracy, rule of law, European integration and reforms in 2017, at State University of Moldova (USM), Technical University of Moldova (UTM), State University Alecu Russo (USAR) in Balti and Free International University of Moldova (ULIM).
