Chisinau, 8 May /MOLDPRES/ - I am confident that those with pro-European visions from this country will find themselves around the same political project. Prime Minister Pavel Filip has made statements to this effect in an interview given exclusively to MOLDPRES.
The prime minister noted that some politicians from Moldova want “a prime minister and a ruling coalition who are to become grave diggers of the European project in Moldova.”
“At present, they only speak about it, as they cannot do more but put obstacles. Starting from next December, however, if we do not mobilize and are not united, they might fulfill the plan and this will be the tragedy of an entire country,” Filip said.
The prime minister specified that he would personally continue to speak about things which he trusts: “European integration, political responsibility and reform-oriented governance and with results for the citizens.”
“The democratic consolidation begins with fair elections and we want to show that we are a democracy which makes solid progress towards consolidation,” Filip said.
