Moldovan actor, stage manager marks birthday anniversary

Chisinau, 08 May /MOLDPRES/ – The well-known actor and director Petru Hadarca, Master of Arts, Artist of the People, laureate of National Prize, general manager of National Theatre Mihai Eminescu in Chisinau, celebrates anniversary of 55 years of age today.  

Interviewed by agency, Petru Hadarca has said that he celebrates his birthday by work, and today theater led by him goes to Balti, where he will present tonight play "Cantec de leagan pentru bunici" (Lullaby for Grandparents) by Dumitru Matcovschi.

Petru Hadarca was born on 08 May 1963, in Singerei city. In 1985 he graduated from Institute of Theatre B. V. Sciukin within Academic Theatre E. Vahtangov in Moscow.

He was actor at theatres: Luceafarul (1985 – 1991) and Mihai Eminescu (1991 – 1994) in Chisinau, also at Theatre Ion Creanga in Bucharest (1994 – 1996). In 1995 – 1997 he worked at Nottara Theatre in Bucharest. For several years he was artistic director of Creative Studio Apropont in Chisinau (1997 – 2001), the "" Musical Theatre Ginta Latina (2001 – 2003) and National Theatre Mihai Eminescu (2003 – 2004). He has starred in over 50 plays, television and featured films. He was director and author of programmes at radio Vocea Basarabiei (2007 – 2009), and in 2009 – 2010 – parliamentary adviser to the Chamber of MPs, the Parliament of Romania.

Petru Hadarca was awarded honorary title "Master in Art" in 2012 and in 2015 –   "Artist of the People". He received the Ministry of Culture Award in 2015 and the National Prize in 2016.
