Over 1,700 to receive assistance on occasion of 9 May day in Moldova

Chisinau, 8 May /MOLDPRES/ - Over 1,700 persons will benefit from one-off material assistance on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the end of the Second World War.
According to the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry, the participants and the people who suffered in the wake of the war will benefit from assistance worth 10,000 lei, the people close to the participants will get 5,000 lei and the wives (husbands) unable to work will receive 1,000 lei.
The material aid will be provided from financial means of the fund for residents’ social support amounting to about eight million lei. The money could be raised at the post offices.
