Agenda of cultural events in Moldova for next week-end

Chisinau, 10 May /MOLDPRES/ – There is presented performance "Testament" (Will) by Gheorghe Urschi at Theatre "Luceafarul" in Chisinau at 18:00 today.  

The presentation is a comedy with a "hot" subject from immediate reality of those times, from the second half of XXth century. The main character, Pricoche Sambure, is a dignified peasant which you can not deceive or "buy" with vague promises. His three sons, Iacob, Alecu and Nichita, are not even similar to him. They are different, representing a broader spectrum of our contemporaries – some are ridiculed, others have tried to accommodate to times and third category reflects wandering politicians.

Also today, at 18:30, it will be presented opera "Traviata" by Giuseppe Verdi at the National Opera and Ballet Theatre Maria Biesu, after novel "Dama cu Camelii" (Lady with japonicas) by Alexandre Dumas – son, libretto: Francesco Maria Piave. Traviata is Verdi's first opera, of which the intrigue and stage attraction are almost completely absent and from which everything that could have prevented focus on personage's soul world, authentic humanity of noble Violetta, on her tragic destiny. The action takes place in Paris and its suburbs, in the middle of the 19th century.

On the same day, it will be held concert "Dulce Amor" at the National Philharmonic, premiered in Chisinau by Karmella, an actress and an original interpreter from Moldova. After several concerts in cities of Russia: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Surgut, Hanty-Mansiisk, singer will perform today with his guests: Diana Rotaru, Adrian Ursu, Aura, Igor Rusu, Adriana Ochisanu, Just friends and circus artists Denis and Silvia Velenciuc. Also here will be the premiere of video:  "De vei fi alaturi" (If you are next to me) on music of Oleg Baraliuc, lyrics Radmila Popovici Paraschiv.

On 11 May, at 18:00, National Theatre "Mihai Eminescu" will present performance "Filumena Marturano or Divorce in Italian Style" by Eduardo de Filippo, a show with great success to public, which presents love story relationship, which lasted 26 years, between Domenico Soriano, a wealthy Napolitan of good world, and Filumena, a former cocoon, conquers irremediably through sincerity and truth.

Also on Friday, 18.00, it will take place a symphonic concert by symphonic orchestra of institution, conducted by Iulian Rusu (Romania) at National Philharmonic. Solist – Daria Schibitcaia. The programme includes concert №01 for violin and orchestra by Dmitri Shostakovici and symphony №04 in minor by Piotr Ilici Cheaikovsky.
