Chisinau, 10 May /MOLDPRES/ - Economic agents from the Transnistrian region will benefit from new facilities in goods export through the joint checkpoint Kuchurgan-Pervomaysk.
According to the Customs Service, for the first time ever, the certificate for preferential origin could be released with the submission of the export customs declaration.
Due to the amendments made by the Customs Service, economic agents will save time and resources and the need to move within an internal customs checkpoint to get the certificate of origin will be excluded.
The joint control at the checkpoint Kuchurgan-Pervomaysk started on 17 July 2017. Under the agreements, the initial stage implied the carrying out of control and customs clearance of goods only on export and re-export operations. Subsequently, on 18 April, the joint control was applied also on the import, re-import and transit operations.
About 100 exports and more than 450 imports have been operated through this checkpoint so far.
