Parliament speaker, economic agents discuss suggestions to improve business environment in north of Moldova

Chisinau, 21 May /MOLDPRES/ – Speaker of Parliament, Andrian Candu, has discussed with leadership of Sangerei, Falesti and Telenesti districts, economic agents from three districts, as well as residents of Sangerei Business Incubator development projects of Moldova and suggestions for improvement of business environment. Andrian Candu paid a working visit to Sangerei today, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.

The talks aimed at facilitating access of economic agents to European funds so as to ensure economic growth, infrastructure and agriculture development, policies to encourage business environment from state, social projects that would encourage young people to remain in Moldova, agriculture subsidising mechanisms. Among problems reported by the economic agents in north of country, there are those related to irrigation of agricultural land, single tax in agriculture, issues related to lending to business environment.

"Some considerable efforts are being made to initiate new business projects for citizens to feel comfortable. The big issue from an economic point of view is lack of qualified specialists. The discussions will help us to identify best solutions,"  said SP.

At Sangerei, Andrian Candu visited Business Incubator, where work 43 residents, over 300 jobs are open, and turnover is steadily increasing. Several successful business stories from bakery, textile, dental and service sectors have been presented.

According to Rules of Procedure of Parliament, Monday is the day of citizens' audience and travel to territory.
