Two registration offices from Moldova's capital extend working schedule

Chisinau, 21 May /MOLDPRES/ - The Public Services Agency’s services of issuance of identity papers of the Botanica and Rascani district from Chisinau extend their working schedule till 24 August starting from today.

The employees of the services will work starting from Monday till Saturday during 8:00-17:00. The subdivisions will provide all services, including the urgent ones, established for the issuance of identity papers.

On this period, the employees’ dinner break, lasting one hour, will be made based on a schedule, without interrupting the work of the subdivision.

The measures were taken in order to efficiently organize the activity of the services for the issuance of identity papers on the year’s summer period.

More than 27,500 applications for the issuance of passport of Moldova’s citizen have been registered since early May. While in last April, the Public Services Agency was daily receiving about 2,000 applications for the passport’s issuance, in May, the number of daily applications increased to up to about 2,300.

About 154,000 passports have been issued since the beginning of this year in all.
