Moldova, Poland consider possibility to cooperate in training diplomatic civil servants

Chisinau, 25 May /MOLDPRES/ – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Tudor Ulianovschi, has discussed today during the meeting with director of Polish Institute for International Affairs, Sławomir Dębski, upon cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration (MAEIE) with the Institute for International Affairs of Poland (IIAP), which competencies include training of civil servants, as well as the international conferences and public debates within international relations.
According to the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service, the IIAP is a think – tank into international affairs, funded by state budget of Poland, conducting research, elaborating studies and reports on foreign policy issues of Poland and other states. In the field of competence of the Polish Institute come: analysis, opinions and prognoses which are developed at request of the public authorities or on their own initiative.
In an exchange of views on the Institute's activity, Minister Tudor Ulianovschi noted potential and interest of MAEIE in developing cooperation with Polish institution in context of continuous training of diplomatic staff in Moldova.
Director Sławomir Dębski, in turn, pointed out interest of the Polish Institute in establishing a bilateral collaboration in order to carry out joint actions to promote image of the regional countries. The Polish expert has also noted that institution he represents is open to cooperation with MAEIE, being willing to make available to the Moldovan side all experience and expertise gained within scientific analysis studies upon international relations.
