Moldova, Qatar interested in development of bilateral relations

Chisinau, 25 May /MOLDPRES/- The development of bilateral relations between Moldova and Qatar, including the initiation of new investment projects involving the business environment of both countries, was discussed at a meeting between Foreign and European Integration Minister Tudor Ulianovschi and Ambassador Mohammed Ali Bin Mohammed Al-Malki, who completed his mandate in Moldova.

According the MAEIE’s press service, the two officials appreciated the positive developments in the Moldovan-Qatar relations, marked in recent years by setting contacts between the two countries. The sides have highlighted the need to maintain this dynamic in the coming period, including through high-level visits, in the context of the constant efforts of both states to promote bilateral relations, focusing on economic cooperation.

At the end of the meeting, the Moldovan official thanked the Qatari Ambassador for active involvement and contribution to the development of bilateral cooperation and wished success in the future work.
