Representatives of government, employers, trade unions hold new meeting

Chisinau, 25 May /MOLDPRES/- Identifying best solutions to combat unofficial employment and distribution for next year of budget-funded places in educational institutions were the main topics discussed today at a new meeting of the National Commission for Collective Consultation and Negotiation, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The participants in the meeting considered the measures taken in 2017 to combat the informal employment and pay in the envelope. In this respect, over 140 inspections were conducted at the economic agents, the contravention sanctions for undeclared work, payment of unofficial wages and arrears on salaries were tightened. Also, dozens of information activities have been organized to inform employees and entrepreneurs about the risks of informal employment.
To reduce the level of use of civil labor contracts, the members of the commission supported a draft collective convention on model of individual labor contract for the period of accomplishment of a certain work and the model of the act of receiving the work.
At the same time, they considered the projects of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research on plans for training the specialists in the technical and higher education institutions for 2018-2019.
Under the projects, it is proposed to finance studies for 4,982 undergraduate students, up by 51 budget places compared to the previous year.
The project provisions, backed by the members of the commission, will come into force following approval by the government.
