Moldova Agroindbank leads bank performance ranking

Chisinau, 25 May /MOLDPRES/- The Moldova Agroindbank reconfirmed its leading position in the bank performance ranking in January-April 2018, worked out by the Expert-Grup centre. The centre experts assessed the 11 banks of the domestic banking system based on 11 indicators grouped into five categories: capital, liquidity, asset quality, profitability and market indicators.

MAIB with a rating of 6.6 points leads the ranking and exceeds by two points the next bank. It holds the highest market share after the loan portfolio and a high return on capital.

The Moldova Agroindbank is a basic pillar of the economic and financial sector of Moldova, holding the leader position in the most important indicators. On 31 April 2018, the bank held market shares of 28 per cent on assets, 33.47 per cent on gross loans, 29.4 per cent on total deposits and 38.9 per cent on profit.
