”Hora Primăverii” National Choral Music Festival nominated winners

Chisinau, 28 May /MOLDPRES/- The 5th edition of the “Hora Primăverii” National Choral Music Festival, organized by the Coral Musical Association, took place at the Organ Hall in Chisinau on 27 May.
It ended with the award ceremony. Attending the competition were 17 choral groups around the country.
The head of the Coral Musical Association, Elena Marian, said that this year’s edition is dedicated to the departed choral conductor and composer Victor Creanga. According to the competition rules, the participants performed four works: a play written by Victor Creanga, a creation of the classical national composers (19th century), a creation of the Renaissance composers (16-17 centuries) and one of free choice, representing the style and personality of the choir.
The first grade diploma was awarded to the ”Lia-Ciocârlia” children choir from Artico Centre and the ”Sinkopa” choir from Falesti. The second grade diploma was awarded to the ”Capricio” choir from Orhei, ”Clipe muzicale” from Chisinau, ”Sfântul Dumitru” choir from Chisinau and ”Maria Cebotari” school of arts from Cahul. The diploma of third degree was taken by ”Belcanto” children choir from Soroca city and ”Lia-Ciocârlia” choir from the Artico Centre in Chisinau.
