Agenda of cultural events in Moldova for next days

Chisinau, 30 May /MOLDPRES/ - Moldovan National Youth Orchestra launches a string of more than 20 concerts from 2018 with a national premiere: Music of Cartoons. On 1 June beginning with 18:00, over 100 musicians will sing beloved songs from childhood’s cartoons at the Green Theatre from the Chisinau-based Valea Morilor park.

A show, Pippi, Longstocking, by Astrid Lindgren will be performed at the Mihai Eminescu National Theatre on 1 June at 15:00. The same show is to be staged at the Roses Street Theatre on the same day at 12:00 and 15:00.

A traditional concert by pupils from the Sergei Rachmaninoff music lyceum, dedicated to the International Children’s Day, will be presented at the Organ Hall on 1 June at 13:00.   

Also on 1 June, the Serghei Lunchevici National Philharmonic from Chisinau hosts a concert of the institution’s Symphony Orchestra in the memory of a departed composer, Zlata Tcaci, occasioned by her 90th birthday anniversary.   

Another concert in the memory of the same departed composer, given by the Doina Academic Choir Chapel, quartet of the Ciprian Porumbescu music lyceum, will take place in the small hall of the Chisinau-based National Philharmonic on 31 June at 18:00.

On 31 May, at 18:00, the big hall of the Serghei Lunchevici National Philharmonic hosts a TV festival and contest of young singers of folk music, Folklor Orchestra Presents.  

Also on 31 May, public is expected to come to a play, Zoika’s Apartment, by Mikhail Bulgakov (+16). The play staged by Vitalie Drucec shows us that it is topical at present too.
