Last bell rang in all schools in Moldova

Chisinau, 31 May /MOLDPRES/- Pupils across the country today marked the last day of school year 2017-2018.
In a congratulatory message, Minister of Education, Culture and Research Monica Babuc said that traditionally on 31 May, “the last bell awakens feelings of accomplishment and pride for achievements in school through the contribution of teachers, pupils’ success and parents’ care in educating the young generation.”
The head of press service of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, Ion Mischevca, said that the events started at around 8:30 and lasted about an hour.
“The last bell was today in over 1,200 education institutions for about 335,000 pupils in the country, of whom about 31,000 are graduates of the gymnasium and over 10,000 of the high school,” Mischevca said.
On 4-22 June, pupils across the country will pass the graduation exams.
