Geriatric home to be constructed in southern Gagauz autonomy

Chisinau, 31 May /MOLDPRES/ - A geriatric home will be constructed in the southern Ceadar-Lunga town. The parliament today passed a draft law which sees the exemption from taxes of goods and services imported for its building.

The home will have a capacity of 32 places and the sum of investments will stand at 500,000 euros. The financing of all goods and services necessary for the construction will be carried out by the mayoralty of Altîndaa from Turkey, as a result of a request made by the Executive Board of the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia.

Under the parliament’s decision, all the goods imported or delivered for the construction of the geriatric home from the Ceadar-Lunga will be exempted from customs duties, tax for the carrying out of customs procedures and value added tax.
