Meeting of Joint Commission for European Integration of Moldovan and Romanian parliaments to develop in Chisinau

Chisinau, 10 June /MOLDPRES/ – The meeting of Joint Committee for European Integration (CCIE) of Parliaments of Moldova and Romania will take place in Chisinau on Monday, 11 June 2018. Moldovan Parliament will host the 7th meeting of CCIE.
According to the parliament’s communication and public relations department, following discussions of MPs from standing committees of Parliament of Moldova and parliamentarians from committees of Chamber of Deputies and Senate of Romania, it will be signed Declaration of CCIE. The document will highlight priorities in perspectives of Moldovan – Romanian collaboration. Subsequently, Co-Presidents of Commission, George Mocanu and Bogdan-Ionel Rodeanu, will hold a press briefing.
According to agenda, Delegation of Romanian Parliament to European Commission for European Integration will meet with Parliament Speaker, Andrian Candu, MPs, Foreign Policy and European Integration Commission, Social Protection, Healthcare and Family Committee. Romanian lawmakers will hold talks with Government officials and visit a number of social and cultural institutions, renovated with financial support of Romanian Government.
The Parliament of Moldova will represent at meeting by MPs George Mocanu, Marcel Raducan, Roman Botan, Corneliu Padnevici, Igor Vremea and Aliona Gota. The delegation of Romanian Parliament will consist of MPs Bogdan – Ionel Rodeanu, Silviu – Nicu Macovei, Andrei – Daniel Gheorghe, József – György Kulcsár – Terza, Stefan Musoiu, Stefan – Alexandru Baisanu, Tudor Ciuhodaru, Maricela Cobuz, Nicolae – Daniel Popescu and senator Ion Hadarca. The European MP Andi Cristea, President of the European Parliament Delegation to EU – Moldova Parliamentary Association Committee, will also attend the meeting.
The last meeting of CCIE of Parliaments of Moldova and Romania took place in Bucharest on 20 – 21 November 2017.
