Chisinau authorities propose to create on-line system for children in first form

Chisinau, 11 June /MOLDPRES/- The authorities in the capital propose the creation of an on-line system, e-scoala.md, for enrolling children in the first form, according to the model used for enrolling the children in the kindergarten. Acting mayor of Chisinau Ruslan Codreanu made the statement today.

According to Codreanu, the new on-line system will operate according to the enrollment model of children in the kindergartens and will exclude the illegal fees taken by the management of some schools. "This system will eliminate corruption. I daily receive messages from parents complaining that they have been charged up to 200 euros to enroll the child in first form, even if according to law the local authorities are obliged to enrol every child in schools in the capital,” Codreanu said.

He also showed dissatisfaction with the work of city hall officials trying to solve their own problems until the new elected mayor is set up.

The acting mayor noticed a number of irregularities in the installation and operation of the booths in the parks in the capital.
