Moldova Agroindbank - first bank authorized to issue electronic meal vouchers

Chisinau, 12 June /MOLDPRES/- Moldova Agroindbank stock company obtained the license for issuing electronic meal vouchers. Thus, MAIB became the first bank and the first domestic company that provides employers with a convenient tool which will allow them to provide extra-salary benefits to employees.

The MAIB meal voucher has the properties of a contactless card and has been developed taking into account the employers' interests to improve the company's image, to provide more motivation for employees and increase their loyalty without incurring tax expense. Moreover, MAIB's solution will allow managing the process to a maximum level of safety and fairness, with lower costs.

The largest supermarket and restaurant networks have announced their willingness to join MAIB's project, which will be expanded to match the interests of all electronic meal voucher holders.

According to the law on meal vouchers, companies can provide employees with meal vouchers worth up to 45 MDL per day, and the amounts are not subject to taxation for either employers or employees.
