Moldova has US support to continue pro-Western vector - Democrats say

Chisinau, 12 June /MOLDPRES/- Moldova has the support of US partners to continue to go further on pro-Western vector. The spokesman of the Democratic Party (PDM), Vitalie Gamurari, made the statement today.

According to Gamurari, the results of the PDM leadership visit to the USA were also presented at the meeting.

“PDM leader Vlad Plahotniuc made a brief presentation on the visit. The delegation also included Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu and PDM deputy head Vlad Cebotari. They had meetings with several US congressmen, and talks focused on the collaboration between Moldova and the USA,” Gamurari said.

He added that the event focused on bilateral relations between Moldova and the USA, including future projects. "The support of the US authorities is essential for our country, which is why Moldova continues to support the strengthening of relations with US partners," Gamurari added.

Plahotniuc has recently paid a visit to the USA and had meetings with several officials, including Congressman Pete Olson, who is the chairman of the USA-Moldova Parliamentary Group.
