Ceadar-Lunga hospital receives humanitarian aid from Germany

Chisinau, 13 June /MOLDPRES/- The Ceadâr-Lunga district hospital received this month a humanitarian assignment with modern medical equipment donated by a charitable organization from Germany.
According to the Ceadâr-Lunga district administration, the hospital benefited from multifunctional beds, sets of necessary equipment for convalescence, furniture, carriages and other utensils for people with locomotor disabilities, swings for newborns, etc.
The head of Ceadâr-Lunga district, Valentin Cara, said that this aid is welcome to the medical institution in the district, especially for endowing the new departments of therapy and neurology within the hospital.
In July 2017, governor Irina Vlah had a meeting with representatives of the Round Table and Rotary Clubs from Germany, which are part of an international charity network. These non-governmental organizations carry out several social projects in different countries of the world, including Moldova.
Then the sides discussed the possibility of expanding cooperation in the social protection and, at the end of last year, a charity campaign titled Christmas Caravan was initiated in Gagauzia. About one year after the establishment of agreements, the Ceadâr-Lunga hospital received the batch of aid. According to the authorities, these relations of cooperation with German partners have continuity.
