Six-month-old baby from Moldova carried to Bucharest-based hospital by helicopter

Chisinau, 13 June /MOLDPRES/ – A six-month-old baby from Moldova has been taken over by a crew of the Emergency Mobile Service, Reanimation and Extrication Service (SMURD) from Iasi today and transported for medical interventions at the Mari Curie Emergency Clinical Hospital for children in Bucharest.
According to the data of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU) of MAI, an aero-medical intervention was carried out by a SMURD crew from Iasi. The small one diagnosed with acute liver failure was taken from the Republican Clinical Hospital in Chisinau and accompanied by parents, being transported by SMURD paramedics to Bucharest for medical interventions.
According to data IGSU, this is the eighth SMURD aero – medical intervention carried out on territory of Moldova in 2018.
