Chisinau, 14 June /MOLDPRES/ – The members of the Joint Control Commission (CUC) have convened today in Bender city at a meeting chaired by Moldovan delegation, the office for reintegration policy’s information and media communication service has reported.
The commission approved appointment of a new military observer from Moldova – Lieutenant Colonel Ianus Muset.
According to weekly report of Joint Military Command, the situation in the Security Zone (ZS) has been qualified as being without exceptional incidents.
At the same time, the Chisinau delegation expressed its deep concern about the flagrant violation of Moldovan – Russian Agreement of 21 July 1992.
Thus, today, 14 June, starting with 08:30, three columns with military and armored technical equipment (TAB, DRDM) (possibly of the Russian Troop Operational Group) were fixed on Tiraspol – Ribnita, Grigoriopol – Dubasari routes), going accompanied by special vehicles of unconstitutional militia structures.
Having requested the response of other components on movement of military columns, the Transnistrian component in CUC specified that all military equipment of Tiraspol is in permanent deployment places and does not circulate through ZS, and representatives of Russia informed that it would be documented on case and inform CUC at upcoming meeting to be held on 21 June 2018.
Subsequently, at insistence of the Moldovan side of Joint Military Command, Military Observers Group of Moldova, Russia, Ukraine and the Transnistrian region began the movement on above-mentioned route to fix violation of the ZS regime.
