Authorities of Romania make public methodology of admitting of Romanians from abroad to universities

Chisinau, 19 June /MOLDPRES/ - The National Education Ministry of Romania has published a methodology of admitting of Romanians from abroad to state higher education in the 2018-2019 academic year on its official webpage.   

According to a press release issued by Romania’s Embassy in Moldova, for the procedure of selection and admitting for the 2018-2019 academic year, the provisions of the methodology on schooling of Romanians from abroad in the state higher education from Romania are applied, starting from the academic year 2017-2018, which may be found on the webpage http://www.edu.ro/romanii-de-pretutindeni .  

Also, the Bucharest authorities said that the figure of schooling for Romanians from abroad have been already distributed to the state higher education institutions. These institutions, based on the university autonomy, will distribute the places without the payment of schooling fees, but with scholarships, respectively those without the payment of schooling fees, but without scholarships, on the sectors of graduation, training for master’s degree and training for doctor’s degree.   

The calendar of admission, schooling offer and the own methodology of admission of Romanians from abroad could be accessed on the site of each higher education institution. At the same time, the National Education Ministry will update the information on its own webpage, at the section dedicated to Romanians from abroad.  

According to the press release, the candidates Romanians from abroad who do not know the Romanian language will be able to take courses of the preparatory year only at the state higher education institutions the syllabi of which have been accredited by the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ARACIS). For a better informing about the offer of schooling of each higher education institution for the Romanians from abroad, on the conditions of selection and terms of submission of candidacy files, respectively of confirming the education place, candidates are encouraged to appeal directly to the education institutions where they are willing to apply.
