Moldovan Democratic Party says government to hold meetings in districts several times per month

Chisinau, 19 June /MOLDPRES/ - The entire cabinet of ministers, led by Prime Minister Pavel Filip, will carry out its activity also in the territory, in order to discuss citizens’ problems. At the same time, on Fridays, “assaults” of the entire government will be organized in a district, where the cabinet members will have meetings with local authorities, economic agents, teachers, physicians, as well as with other categories of citizens. The leader of Democratic Party of Moldova (PDM), Vlad Plahotniuc, made statements to this effect after the PDM’s weekly meeting today.   

According to Plahotniuc, the government must more actively get involved in the settlement of problems from Moldova’s districts.  

„One of the subjects discussed at the today’s meeting deals with an as active as possible involvement of the cabinet in the solving of acute problems from each district. For this reason, we have identified, along with the colleagues and the prime minister, a solution which we believe will considerably contribute to the settlement of problems faced by the citizens. The whole government, led by the PM, will carry out its activity in the territory several times per month. And on Fridays, an “assault” of the entire cabinet of ministers will be organized in a district, where ministers will have meetings with local authorities, economic agents, teachers, physicians, as well as with other categories of citizens. They will also answer questions, will hold a government meeting strictly on issues of the districts they are visiting,” the Democrats’ leader said.    

Plahotniuc added that the visits by ministers in the territory would be a good opportunity for residents of villages to set forth their demands.
