Rescuers reinstall anti-heat tents

Chisinau, 20 June /MOLDPRES/- The General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations of the Interior Ministry informs that it will reinstall today the anti-heat tents in several regions of the country.

IGSU press officer Liliana Puşcaşu said that the rehabilitation points should be set up in the five districts of Chisinau municipality, as well as in Balti, Cahul and Comrat.

During two days, the tents were operating, 5,432 people were addressed. People had water and the opportunity to protect themselves from the sun during high temperature hours. Over the past week, 11 tents operated in Chisinau, Balti, Cahul, as well as in Comrat, Causeni and Cimislia.

Meteorologists announced for today and tomorrow up to +31 degrees Celsius. The air temperature will drop slightly at the end of the week.

In this context, doctors recommend limiting the duration of walks and sunbathing between 10:00-18:00 and intense physical effort, wearing clothes made of natural fibers bright colors and hats. Also, it is recommended to consume on average 2-3 liters of water, hot tea, fresh fruits and vegetables, and avoiding alcoholic beverages, including beer and caffeine.
