Period of stay of Moldovan international vehicles' drivers in Ukraine to be extended to 180 days

Chisinau, 20 June /MOLDPRES/ - The period of stay on the Ukrainian territory of drivers of vehicles carrying out international transports of passengers and goods will be extended from 90 to 180 days, during each half a year, under a protocol due to be signed between the two countries’ governments. The decision on signing the document was approved at a cabinet meeting today.
The drivers who are on job mission when crossing the state border will benefit from a period of 180 days of stay in Ukraine.
The talks on the draft protocol took place in Chisinau on 21 May 2018. The text of the document was given final touched and initialed. The goal pursued is to facilitate the mutual travels for the categories of people, who according to the specific character of their activities, often cross the borders of both states, in order to carry out the international transport of passengers and goods and for which reason they exceed the period of 90 days of stay on the territory of another state in a period of 180 days.
