Piano Nights International Festival to be held in Chisinau, Tiraspol

Chisinau, 21 June /MOLDPRES/- The sixteenth edition of the International Festival "Piano Nights in Moldova-Black Sea", due on 21 June - 6 July, will be held in Chisinau and Tiraspol.
The event is organized by the French Alliance in Moldova and the French Embassy in Chisinau. According to the organizers, the festival enjoys a great success and notoriety, being launched 16 years ago at the initiative of the French Alliance, the director of Aix-en-Provence (France) festival Michel Bourdoncle and famous conductor Valentin Doni.
The festival will be inaugurated today at 19.00, on the longest day of the year and on the European Music Day, at the Organ Hall in Chisinau, with French music concert and film music. The National Chamber Orchestra will perform on stage, directed by French composer and pianist Laurent Couson and Moldovan pianist Stanislav Jar.
The event will end on 6 July in Tiraspol, where a concert will be presented with the participation of the National Chamber Orchestra of Moldova, the Symphony Orchestra of the National Philharmonic, the National String Quartet and the Symphonic Orchestra in Tiraspol.
