Process of Transnistrian conflict settlement progressing, state political representatives in Moldova

Chisinau, 21 June /MOLDPRES/ – The process of settling the Transnistrian conflict is progressing and evolving in a dynamic way. The political representatives of Chisinau and Tiraspol have made this announcement after a meeting today.
Deputy Prime Minister and political representative of Chisinau, Cristina Lesnic, has said at a press conference today that several technical issues were discussed regarding implementation of previously approved agreements. "Also, we talked about social issues, such as human rights and improvement the living standards of citizens on both banks of the Dniester river," evoked Lesnic.
At his turn, political representative of Tiraspol, Vitalii Ignatiev, has specified that during the meeting there were discussed draft laws aimed at registering several types of means of transport. "There were raised more questions to be examined on it. We evaluated actions of Chisinau against previous agreements. We hope that all previously approved decisions will be met in time. We also talked about transporting and selling of medicines. Similarly, two working groups on banking and railroad were re-launched. We reiterated that we would like the positive settlement of criminal cases initiated on behalf of the persons in the region," said Ignatiev.
The representatives of mediators and observers of the format "5+2" also attended the event. The meeting took place in Chisinau municipality.
