Performance dedicated to European Music Day presented at National Library of Moldova

Chisinau, 21 June /MOLDPRES/ – A performance dedicated to the European Music Day, the Year of European Languages in Moldova and the European Year of Cultural Heritage has taken place today at the National Library of Moldova (BNM), at the Music Salon that works next to this institution.

The event was organised by the host institution in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research (MECC), National Commission of Moldova for UNESCO, Association of French Language Teachers and the National Trade College of the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova (ASEM).

During the event, it was held a concert: "Singing is the only ambassador which does not need a translator" with participation of laureates of the 15th issue of the National Festival – contest of French song "Chantons, amis!".

The National Festival – contest of Francophone song "Chantons, amis!" was launched in 2004.
