Chisinau, 22 June /MOLDPRES/- Amendments to the state social insurance budget law for 2018 were published today in the Official Journal of Moldova. According to them, the revenues and expenditures of the state social insurance budget will increase by 26.5 million lei.
Total revenues and expenses for 2018 will amount to 19,339 million lei. The expenditures for social benefits will increase by 26.2 million lei and will amount to 18,979.5 million lei. The expenditures for the activities funded from the general resources will increase by 81 million lei, amounting to 14,024.7 million lei. The expenditures for the activities financed from the transfers from the state budget will decrease by 54.5 million lei.
The expenses for the social protection of older people will increase by 60 million lei. This will include the increase in the costs related to the increase in the average pension amount, the two steps of revaluation of this year's pension, and the 0.1 percentage point increase in the pension indexation coefficient compared to the approved one.
As regards the social protection of disabled people, the expenditures will increase by 17.9 million lei, the forecast number of beneficiaries - 129,000.
