Public sector employees may request compensation under First Home 2 program

Chisinau, 22 June /MOLDPRES/- Today, public sector employees may request compensation under the "First Home 2" State Program, after the money-granting regulation was published in the Official Journal of Moldova.

Applicants can register today demands for compensation through an online register, available on the website: www.primacasa.gov.md.

According to the Regulation, employees of public authorities and institutions financed entirely from the national public budget, public health and higher education institutions with financial autonomy, working for at least one year in the public sector and without disciplinary sanctions at work.

The total amount of compensation will be distributed for 25 years and will be granted monthly until the end of the repayment period of the mortgage loan. In the case of early repayment of the credit, compensation will be suspended upon payment by the beneficiary of the final instalment.

For granting the compensations under the "First Home 2" Program, 20 million lei are foreseen in the budget for 2018.

The rules for participation in the program are almost identical to those in the "First Home" program: any dwelling that is put into operation, regardless of where it is located, in the village or in the city, can be purchased, but its cost should not exceed 500,000 lei.
